The Head of State of Kazakhstan and the Prime Minister of Hungary engaged in a telephone conversation

Astana – Budapest, January 17, 2025 - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Viktor Orbán discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda and noted the high level of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Hungary.

Special attention was paid to the effective implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level, in particular in the fields of energy, finance and investment. The importance of continuing joint work to achieve mutually beneficial results of bilateral cooperation was emphasized.

The sides also exchanged views on current global and regional issues and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening interaction within the framework of international organizations.

At the end of the conversation the Head of State of Kazakhstan confirmed the invitation to the Prime Minister of Hungary to make a return visit to Kazakhstan.
