Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Visits Ikarus Production Facility in Székesfehérvár

On December 20, 2024, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary, Abzal Saparbekuly, visited the Ikarus Group production facility in Székesfehérvár.
During the visit, the Ambassador met with the company's leadership, including Vice President Tamás Benkócs, CEO Roland Fehér, and Sales Director Hunor János Kelemen.

The program of the visit included a presentation on the activities of Ikarus Group, a guided tour of the production facilities showcasing modern technologies and innovations, as well as a summary of the meeting. The discussions focused on the prospects of joint production of vehicles in Kazakhstan and a planned visit by Ikarus Group representatives to Kazakhstan in 2025.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering, noting that Kazakhstan offers favorable conditions for foreign investors, including support for innovative transport projects. The leadership of Ikarus expressed their interest in expanding their presence in Central Asia and participating in initiatives aimed at developing Kazakhstan's transportation infrastructure.
