Budapest, April 7, 2024 – The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary attended a concert featuring Gioacchino Rossini's “Staban Mater" as part of the "Gaudeamus IV" concert series at the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy.
At the concert, accompanied by the renowned Hungarian Philharmonic Orchestra "St. Istvan", Kazakh tenor Alikhan Zeinolla performed solo and captivated the audience with his ringing voice.
Alikhan Zeinolla is a soloist with the Astana Opera Youth Academy; he improved his craft at the Italian Conservatory and has been invited to perform in a number of European theaters. The young talent also studies with Anatoli Goussev, an Italian opera master. In the future, he hopes to compete on the international stage.
The Kazakh talent also auditioned for the Donizetti Theater in Bergamo, Milan. The young opera singer signed his first contract and was scheduled to perform at Hungary's Ferenc Liszt Academy Hall.
Concertmaster Ziru Zhazykbayeva describes Alikhan Zeynollah's voice as a rare melodic coloratura tenor. He strives to perfectly perform classical works in their original language. And Maestro Anatoli Goussev regards his mentor as one of the gifted individuals who preserve Kazakh culture and opera art.
It is worth noting that Tulegenova Gulzhan, Alikhan Zeynollah's first art teacher when he was in college, received four years of training from a young teacher, followed by four years of training from Professor, People's Artist of Kazakhstan Kanat Omarbayev. In 2023, he spent a month and a half performing at the Gioacchino Rossini Academy Festival in Italy.
