About the regional meeting of heads of antimonopoly agencies

Budapest, March 26, 2024 - Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary Zhanibek Abdrashov took part in the annual meeting of heads of competition authorities organized by the Regional Competition Centre of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Budapest.

Rustаm Akhmetov, the first deputy chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Protection and Development of Competition, represented Kazakhstan at the event. The agenda for the event, which was attended by the heads of competition agencies from Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, the head of the OECD Competition Committee F. Jenny, and a representative of the European Court of Justice M. Rantow, included topics such as judicial control of competition agencies, control of company fusions, and country practice.
