Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary had a meeting with President of «Wizz Air»

Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary Mr.Zhanibek Abdrashov held on June 9, 2020 a meeting in the format of a video conference with the President of "Wizz Air" company Mr.Jozséf Váradi.

The issues of Kazakh-Hungarian cooperation in the field of civil aviation, including the possibility of resumption of air service between Budapest and Nur-Sultan were discussed during the meeting.

Mr.J.Váradi expects that in the case of opening the external borders of the EU from July 1 for citizens of third countries the decision to grant the right to enter Hungary to citizens of these countries, including Kazakhstan, will be taken individually, depending on the epidemiological situation in these countries. According to him, in case of removal of restrictions on entry for citizens of Kazakhstan, flights from Budapest to Nur-Sultan will resume.
