Budapest honored the memory of Mándoky Kongur István, the Hungarian Turkicologist, on the 80th anniversary of his birth

Budapest, February 7, 2024 – Zhanibek Abdrashov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the bas-relief of the Hungarian Turkologist Mándoky Kongur István, along with Andras Gal, President of the Hungarian-Kazakh Fund «Barys» and Ongaisa Mandoky, Head of the Kazakh Diaspora in Hungary.

The event was also attended by Talaybek Kadyrov acting Head of the Organization of Turkic States in Hungary, close friends and students of the Hungarian scientist, as well as Kazakh students and representatives of the Kazakh Diaspora.
