The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary took part in the "Tree Planting Ceremony" at the residence of the Representative Office of the Organization of Turkic States in Budapest

Budapest, on the 11th of November 2022 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary Zhanibek Abdrashov took part in the “Tree Planting Ceremony” side event of the 9th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held at the "Ybl Villa" residence of the Representative Office of the OTS in Budapest.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) of Hungary with the support of the OTS Representative Office in Budapest. The side event was attended by the representatives of the MFAT of Hungary, the Ministry of Agriculture (MA) of Hungary, ambassadors of the OTS countries in Hungary, as well as students of the OTS member-states studying in Hungary under the “Stipendium Hungaricum” scholarship.

After the opening speech of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzyoyev in Samarkand, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Zhanibek Abdrashov, along with the other ambassadors of OTS member-states, planted a pear tree seedling in the garden of “Ybl Villa”.

The side event was held simultaneously with the “Tree Planting Ceremony” of the 9th OTS Summit in Samarkand, during which the heads of OTS countries planted seedlings to commemorate the Turkey's “National Tree Planting Day”.
