The Ambassador of Kazakhstan paid a working visit to Karcag

The working visit of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary, Mr.Zhanibek  Abdrashov to city of Karcag (Hungary) took place on January 23, 2020 in city Karcag (Hungary).

During the visit, the Ambassador met the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of Hungary Mr. M.Varga, Members of the Hungarian Parliament represented by the Honorary Chairman of the “Union of Kipchaks” Mr. S.Fazekas and the current President of the “Union of Kipchaks” Mr. S.Kovács, who are natives of Karcag, as well as the Mayor of Karcag Mr. L.Dobos.

Topical issues of cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Hungary in the areas of politics, economy, and culture, as well as regional cooperation, including the issues of holding joint cultural events in the city of Karcag this year were discussed during the meetings.

During his visit, the Ambassador also visited the office of the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Karcag, where he held a separate meeting with the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Hungary Mr. L.Horvat.

At the end of the visit, Ambassador Mr. Zhanibek Abdrashov gave an interview to the local TV channel «Karcag.TV», in which he talked about the current situation and prospects for cooperation between Kazakhstan and Hungary, and also visited the Györffy István Múzeum, where exhibits of Kipchak heritage were presented.
