Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Hungary - Co-Chairman of the Kazakh-Hungarian Business Council was awarded with the "30th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan" medal

Budapest, September 20, 2022 – Zhanibek Abdrashov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary has conducted a meeting with Laszlo Horvath, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary - Co-Chairman of the Kazakh-Hungarian Business Council. During the meeting, topical issues of further development of traditionally friendly Kazakh-Hungarian relations were discussed with an emphasis on building up cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.

The Ambassador highlighted the potential of attracting Kazakhstan’s youth studying in Hungary within the framework of the “Stipendium Hungaricum” scholarship to the Kazakh-Hungarian business environment, which can give an impetus to the expansion of agricultural relations.

In turn, the Honorary Consul noted that he was interested in intensifying work on business development between Kazakhstan and Hungary.

At the end of the meeting, Zhanibek Abdrashov presented Laszlo Horvath with the "30th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan" medal for his contribution to the implementation of the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
