The Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the Deputy Secretary of State for Cultural Diplomacy

Budapest, April 11, 2022 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan Zhanibek Abdrashov met with Deputy Secretary of State for Cultural Diplomacy, Márton Schőberl at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of Hungary.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, and prospects for cooperation in the field of the Kazakh-Hungarian film industry, within which work is currently underway on a joint film project.

Zhanibek Abdrashov noted that over the 30-year period of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Hungary, cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere has reached a qualitatively new level.

The Kazakh diplomat also emphasized that the positive trend of fruitful bilateral cooperation in this area would not only strengthen the Kazakh-Hungarian friendship, but also expand the opportunities for meaningful communication between the peoples of our countries.

Márton Schőberl was informed about ongoing large-scale political reforms aimed at deep modernization and building of New Kazakhstan.
