The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary took part in the wreath-laying ceremony in honor of the 190th anniversary of Arminy Vamberi

Budapest, March 19, 2022 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan Zhanibek Abdrashov took part in the wreath-laying ceremony in honor of the 190th Anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Hungarian Turkologist, Orientalist and traveler Arminy Vamberi, which was organized by the Representative Office of the Organization of Turkic States in Hungary.

The event was attended by Ambassadors and representatives of the Embassies of the Turkic states accredited in Hungary, prominent Hungarian scientists and Turkologists, as well as representatives of the diaspora of Turkic countries.

In his speech, the Ambassador noted the important role of the Hungarian scientist A. Vamberi in the study of the Central Asian states and his invaluable contribution to the development of Turkic studies in Europe.
