Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary met with a Head of Radiation Protection Department

Budapest, March 1, 2022 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary met with Tamás Pázmándi, a Head of Radiation Protection Department of Centre for Energy Research of Hungary - Co-chairman of the Kazakh-Hungarian working group on nuclear energy.

The prospects of practical cooperation between the scientific centers of the two countries in the field of research and peaceful use of atomic energy were discussed.

This meeting was a continuation of the work on establishing cooperation between Kazakhstan and Hungary in the field of nuclear energy.

It should be noted that on January 28, 2022, Zhanibek Abdrashov visited the existing Paks NPP and the Paks-2 NPP construction site, as well as held a meeting with János Süli, minister without portfolio in charge of the upgrade of the Paks nuclear plant.
