The Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary

Budapest, February 7, 2022 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary Zhanibek Abdrashov met with Dr. Orsolya Pacsay-Tomassich, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary on the Diplomatic Academy and the educational program "Stipendium Hungaricum".

During the meeting, the parties discussed the Kazakh-Hungarian bilateral relations in the field of education.

The Ambassador noted that Hungarian universities have always been famous for the high quality of training specialists and emphasized that the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced a change in the course of the country's educational program, in particular, Kazakhstan is currently building a new economic model based on the training of specialists with technical education.

The Kazakh diplomat also noted that the Eurasian National University is ready to accept students from Hungary as well as since October 2021, the Hungarian language has already been taught at this university.

The Secretary of State mentioned that Hungary highly values the strategic relationship with Kazakhstan, in which the Stipendium Hungaricum educational program has a special place.
