The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary met with the Director of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade

Budapest, February 3, 2022 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary Zhanibek Abdrashov met with Márton Ugrósdy, Director of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.

At the meeting, the Ambassador told his interlocutor about the progress of the investigation into the events that took place in Kazakhstan in early January 2022, about measures to ensure the rights of detained citizens, as well as about the new socio-economic initiatives of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to form a “New Kazakhstan”.

In addition, the prospects for cooperation between the Foreign Policy Research Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary were discussed.
