Scientific online conference-competition "Kongur-daryny" was held in Budapest

On May 21, 2021 in Budapest in honor of the 30th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary, together with the „Barys” Kazakh-Hungarian Foundation, organized a scientific online conference-competition "Kongur-daryny", dedicated to the Hungarian turkologist Istvan Konyr Mandoky and the history of two countries with the participation of secondary school students from Hungary and Kazakhstan.

In his welcoming speech, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary Zh.Abdrashov noted that the purpose of the event is to strengthen cooperation in the field of education, science, and innovation between the two countries.

During the conference, the Head of the Abai Center O. Mandoky, the Director of the Almaty school No. 154 named after I. Mandoky K.Almasbayeva, the President of the „Barys” Kazakh-Hungarian Foundation A.Gal, as well as other participants of the conference also had their speeches.

In the framework of the event, schoolchildren of the two countries read their reports in the Kazakh and Hungarian languages. As a result of the competition, the winners were announced, who received certificates and gifts.
