Ambassador of Kazakhstan presented the Credentials to the President of the Republic of North Macedonia

On December 9, 2020, in Skopje, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to North Macedonia (concurrently) Zhanibek Abdrashov presented Credentials to the President of the Republic of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski.
At the meeting held after the ceremony, both sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as international issues in the post-coronavirus period. The Ambassador conveyed the best wishes of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to President Pendarovski and informed him about the socio-economic situation in Kazakhstan, measures to further reform the country and develop Kazakhstan's society, as well as preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
At the end of the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat expressed his readiness to make every effort to further strengthen bilateral cooperation. In turn, President Pendarovski congratulated the Kazakh Ambassador with the start of his diplomatic mission in North Macedonia and wished him success in his future work.
On the same day, Zhanibek Abdrashov held a meeting with the Speaker of the Assembly (Parliament) of North Macedonia Talat Xhaferi, where issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries were discussed. The parties noted their mutual interest in intensifying contacts between the legislative bodies of the two countries in order to exchange experience in the field of lawmaking.
At the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani Zhanibek Abdrashov discussed the development of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries and current international issues. In addition, the Kazakh diplomat congratulated the Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs with the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
