Budapest, June 27, 2025. Ambassador of Kazakhstan H.E. Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly, met with Mr. Gábor Seres, Director of International Relations of the Hungarian company Bábolna TETRA.
Bábolna TETRA is one of the world’s recognized leaders in layer genetics and breeding, with a long-standing history, innovative technologies, and a wide geography of export deliveries.
The Ambassador informed about the positive dynamics of poultry development in Kazakhstan, including increased production volumes and the number of poultry farms. As of January 1, 2025, the country had 68 poultry farms and 45.7 million birds. In 2024, 360,000 tons of poultry meat and 4.5 billion eggs were produced. The industry is supported by state measures, including investment subsidies that reimburse up to 40% of capital expenditures for the construction and expansion of breeding facilities.
Given these trends, the Ambassador emphasized the relevance of launching a joint investment project with Bábolna TETRA and confirmed the Kazakh side’s readiness to provide comprehensive support through Kazakh Invest and relevant government bodies.
Representatives of Bábolna TETRA expressed gratitude for the interest shown, confirmed their willingness to continue the dialogue, and raised interest in exploring Kazakhstan’s investment potential.
The parties agreed to continue consultations, hold targeted negotiations on potential formats of cooperation, and consider organizing a company visit to Kazakhstan in the autumn of this year.
