Topical issues of bilateral co-operation in the energy sector were discussed during the meeting of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan with the State Counsellor of the Prime Minister of Romania

16 January 2024, Bucharest - Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerlik Ali met with State Counsellor of the Prime Minister of Romania Florin-Marian Spătaru. The meeting was also attended by representatives of JSC «NC «KazMunayGas» and «KazMunayGas International» (Rompetrol).

During the meeting the issues of further expansion of co-operation in the field of energy, subsoil use and investments, as well as introduction of the latest technologies in joint projects, including environmental ones, were discussed.

The interlocutors also discussed topical issues of co-operation on the activities of «KazMunaiGas International», as well as the export of Kazakh energy resources to Romania.
