Banking sector issues discussed during the meeting Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlik Ali with the Governor of the National Bank of Romania Mugur Isarescu

December 14, 2023, Bucharest - Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerlik Ali held a meeting with the Governor of the National Bank of Romania Mugur Isarescu.

During the meeting, the parties paid attention to the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the financial sector.

The sides exchanged views on topical issues of monetary policy, financial stability, development of the banking sector and financial technologies.

Discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the banking sector, including within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Romania, as well as the Club of Central Bank Governors of Central Asia, the Black Sea region and the Balkans.

The parties expressed mutual interest in continuing the dialog and holding similar meetings in the future.
