About the working trip of the General Director "Union of transport and logistics organizations and associations "KAZLOGISTICS" to Romania

On November 21, 2023, in the port of Constanta took place a meeting of the Kazakh delegation led by the General Director of STC “KAZLOGISTICS” E.Absatov with the management of the port, the association of Romanian carriers, as well as representatives of Romanian railway enterprises.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the possibilities of optimizing the delivery of Kazakh cargo along the “Middle Corridor” route using the ports and infrastructure of Romania. In particular, the Kazakh side noted the importance of establishing multimodal transport links in a western direction through the territory of Central Asia. The transport and logistics capabilities of Kazakhstan were also presented to the Romanian side.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in strengthening comprehensive cooperation in the field of transport and agreed to establish contacts between transport companies and carriers of the two countries in the near future.
