On the meeting with the State Counsellor for Foreign Policy and Strategic Affairs of the Prime Minister of Romania

03.10.2023, Bucharest - Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerlik Ali met today with the State Counselor for Foreign Policy and Strategic Affairs of the Prime Minister of Romania Nicolae Comănescu.

During the talks, the parties discussed in detail the comprehensive partnership in the political sphere and agreed to intensify economic diplomacy. In particular, the sides addressed the issues of strengthening cooperation in such fields as energy, IT, transportation and tourism.

The sides also exchanged views on a wide range of topical issues on the international and regional agenda, including interaction within the European Union.

In general, the outcome of the talks confirmed the trusting nature of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Romania, especially the willingness of the parties to further expand political and economic contacts.
