About the meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlik Ali with the Director General of the company "Nuclearelectrica" S.A. Cosmin Ghiţă

2 October 2023, Bucharest - Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlik Ali held a meeting with the Director General of the company "Nuclearelectrica" S.A. Cosmin Ghiţă and discussed topical issues of bilateral co-operation in the field of nuclear energy.

The parties discussed in detail the issues of further co-operation between NC “Kazatomprom” JSC and “Nuclearelectrica” S.A. power company.

The parties exchanged views on the development of the nuclear industry, using of modern nuclear technologies, including the construction of modular reactors, of low power, as well as the improvement of the national legislative framework in this area.

Measures to regulate nuclear and radiation safety and practical training of qualified personnel in the nuclear industry were also discussed.
