Tokayev: The country's foreign policy will always be independent

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev assured that Kazakhstan's foreign policy will always be independent, Akorda reports.

"Kazakhstan is the only state in its geopolitical region to carry out such large-scale reforms. The updated Constitution and the ongoing reforms in the country are a vivid confirmation of this," the President said.

He stated that he is determined to continue the policy of reforms.

"Our main task is to strengthen sovereignty and protect our national interests. Therefore, Kazakhstan will continue to carry out active international cooperation, and the country's foreign policy will always be independent. All of our successes have been possible thanks to the unity and harmony in society. Despite all the difficulties, we will never turn from our intended path. This is the only way for us to achieve all of our goals, and for Kazakhstan to become a truly progressive, creative and advanced country," assured the Head of State.
