Presidential Adviser: Kazakhstan is an important energy partner of Romania

16/01/2023, Bucharest - today the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Nurbakh Rustemov met with the Romanian Presidential Advisor Mrs. Luminița-Teodora Odobescu.

During the talks, both sides highly appreciated the level of Kazakh-Romanian cooperation achieved over thirty years, based on friendship and mutual understanding.

The Adviser to the President expressed Romania's interest in further intensifying the partnership and unlocking the full potential of economic ties, especially in the fields of energy and logistics.

The interlocutors expressed their mutual desire to further strengthen cultural and humanitarian cooperation. In particular, T.Odobescu supported the Embassy's initiatives to hold a number of cultural events planned for the current year.

A separate topic of the meeting was the discussion of the domestic political and socio-economic situation in Kazakhstan, as well as the implementation of large-scale reforms by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the key goal of which is to build a "Fair Kazakhstan".
