Essay contest " Let’s discover Kazakhstan " was held in Romania

25/10/2022, Bucharest – The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Bucharest, together with the EURISC Foundation and Institute for Politics and Economics of East, organized a contest for the best essay “Let’s discover Kazakhstan”, dedicated to the celebration of the Republic Day of our country.

Students from ten different universities participated in the competition, in particular, University of Bucharest, University Babes-Bolyai, National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, Military Technical Academy, the "Henri Coandă" Air Force Academy and others. Participants of the competition had to write a material of 5 thousand words on the topic "New Kazakhstan", as well as the prospects for the development of Kazakh-Romanian relations.

The works were evaluated by a professional jury, which included such experts in the field of politics and economics as Dr. Liviu Muresan and Mr. Flavius ​​Caba-Maria.

The competition commission determined that the first place was taken by the PhD student of the University of Bucharest Andrei Popa, the second places - by the master student of the Bucharest branch of the Lund University of Sweden Ivaz Lăcrămioara and the cadet of the Air Force Academy Virginia Maria Milea, the third places - by the student of the University Babes-Bolyai Liliana Maria Tivadar, master student of the University of Bucharest Andra-Ștefania Chiriță and cadet of the Military Technical Academy Andrei Dodoț.

As a result, the winners of the competition were awarded certificates of honor and cash prizes. It should be noted that the organizers decided to hold this competition annually, which aroused great interest among the Romanian youth.
