The Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of Romania

Activation of Kazakh-Romanian cooperation discussed at the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of Romania

Bucharest, August 16, 2022 - Ambassador Nurbakh Rustemov held a meeting with the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of Romania, Constantin-Daniel Cadariu.

The main topic of the talks was the organization of the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in October this year in Nur-Sultan.  The parties agreed at the upcoming meeting to focus on issues of energy, transport and logistics cooperation, as well as strengthening educational, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

N.Rustemov discussed in detail the prospects for developing cooperation in the field of tourism with a focus on opening direct flights between countries, as well as the issue of diversifying trade routes.

Also, an agreement was reached to hold a business forum within the framework of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission.  The Romanian side expressed interest in organizing an economic mission of enterprises for the production of oil and gas and IT equipment, pharmaceutical and furniture products, agricultural products, as well as in the tourism industry.
