New ways of developing Kazakh-Romanian cooperation were discussed at a meeting with the Vice-Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group

10.03.2022, Bucharest – Ambassador Nurbakh Rustemov met today with the Vice-Chairman of the Kazakh-Romanian Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, Deputy of the Romanian Parliament Vasile Cîtea.

During the talks, the Kazakh diplomat briefed the Deputy in detail on the implementation of political and socio-economic reforms in Kazakhstan. Along with this, issues of deepening partnership between the legislative bodies of the two countries, as well as within the framework of such international organizations as PACE and the OSCE PA were discussed.

In addition, the interlocutors confirmed the readiness of the parties to increase the number of economic, cultural and humanitarian projects. In particular, being the President of the Romanian Boxing Federation, V. Cîtea noted the growing potential and professionalism of Kazakh athletes, whose participation is eagerly awaited at the international tournament in Romania in April 2022.
