About the meeting with the Political Director of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

23.02.2022, Bucharest – Today, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurbakh Rustemov, met with the Political Director for Strategic Affairs of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Traian Hristea.
During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for intensifying bilateral political and economic cooperation. At the same time, the mutual interest in participating in the implementation of joint projects and events in a bilateral and multilateral way was emphasized.
In addition, N. Rustemov briefed the interlocutor on the events in Kazakhstan, the intentions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to continue the course of political modernization and the implementation of new political reforms, the commitment to comply with international obligations in the field of protection human rights, etc.
In his turn, Traian Hristea, who was the Ambassador of the European Union to Nur-Sultan in the period 2015-2018, underlined the readiness to develop a mutually beneficial partnership, appreciating very much the growing international prestige of our country.
