29 years of friendship and cooperation between Kazakhstan and Romania

Today, the Republic of Kazakhstan and Romania celebrate the 29th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
During this time, the two states have established an active political dialogue, mutually beneficial trade, economic and investment cooperation, and have also reached a high level of interaction in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
This is evidenced by the work of the parties within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation (15 meetings have been held so far), the implementation of joint cultural projects (the establishment of monuments, the opening of cultural centers, holding days of culture, etc.), the successful activities of KazMunayGas International.
The Republic of Kazakhstan considers Romania as one of the most important partners in Europe. The annual trade turnover between the two countries has reached 1-1. 5 billion US dollars.
Progressive work is underway to further develop bilateral relations on a wide range of cooperation. Special attention is paid to the disclosure of tourist potential, as well as the creation of favorable investment conditions.
Thanks to the high level of political cooperation and trust-based dialogue, Kazakhstan and Romania continue to increase the pace of cooperation and open up new horizons for further cooperation.
