Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belgium Meets With Director of Brussels Diplomatic Academy
Brussels, 17 February 2023 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belgium Margulan Baimukhan met with Director of the VUB Brussels Diplomatic Academy Gunther Gaublomme and the Academy’s coordinator for international projects Jean de Brabander.
During the discussion the parties exchanged views on the progress of Kazakhstan’s cooperation with EU and Belgium, opportunities for promoting mutual trade and investments.
The Ambassador also informed his interlocutors of Kazakhstan’s role in developing transport connectivity between Asia and Europe, of the ongoing major political and economic reforms in his country and its readiness for the upcoming parliamentary election on 19 March 2023.
Associated with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, the Brussels Diplomatic Academy provides quality programs for training professionals in foreign affairs, with a particular focus on economic diplomacy or international business.
In October 2022, it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan that allows for elaborating joint initiatives and projects in areas of common interest.
