A Delegation Of Kazakhstan Headed By Deputy Prime-Minister -- Finance Minister Of Kazakhstan, Held Meetings In Brussels

September 16, 2022, Brussels -  Delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Mr. Yerulan Zhumaubayev, including the Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Mr. Galimzhan Pirmatov and the Governor of the AIFC Mr. Kairat Kelimbetov held a targeted meeting with the leadership of the "Euroclear" international clearing system.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the Euroclear platform through modern digital models for servicing the securities market of Kazakhstan with the aim of attracting foreign investors to this segment.

The parties noted to ensure the functioning of the Kazakhstani stock market at high-level financial institutions of Kazakhstan and Euroclear have established a fruitful relationship based on trust.

European financiers stressed that Euroclear supports the further integration of advanced solutions in the field of financial services into the Kazakhstani stock market.

Following a constructive dialogue, the parties agreed to intensify joint work and create a working group to introduce the Euroclear international clearing system to the Kazakhstani securities market, which will give an additional impetus to the development of the Kazakhstani market and influx of foreign investors.
