A Belgian breed of cattle is planned to be reproduced in Kazakhstan

May 30, 2022, Almaty - On May 21-30, the management of "Ecodynamics", a Belgian high-tech agricultural company, which intends to cooperate with domestic farmers in the field of breeding the "Belgian white blue" breed of cattle, visited Kazakhstan. The weight of this breed of cattle, which is the pride of Belgian breeders, reaches one and a half tons, and muscle mass exceeds 65%. At the same time, the meat of the "Belgian white blue" breed of cattle is considered one of the most healthy and environmentally friendly in the world.

Technological solutions of the Belgian side were highly appreciated by representatives of "KazAgro" and a number of Kazakh farmers. Five large Kazakhstani agricultural enterprises from Kostanay and Almaty regions have already expressed their interest in breeding the Belgian cattle breed in Kazakhstan.

Reproduction of new breeds of cattle, in comparison with the import of cattle from abroad, comes with less risks related with acclimatization of animals.

The Belgian white-blue breed of cattle is considered the most promising breed in the world due to the high proportion of animals. The breed, which was bred in Belgium in the 19th century, is one of the most common in Europe.
