The European Investment Bank expands its presence in Kazakhstan

Luxembourg, April 28, 2022 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan M. Baimukhan held a meeting with the leadership of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg.

The parties discussed the results of the recent visit of the EIB representatives to Kazakhstan, as well as the economic and social projects planned with Kazakhstani economic entities.

Rafal Rybacki, Director of Lending Operations in the East and Central Asian countries, emphasized the interest of the financial institution in the implementation of a number of social projects in the field of green economy and digitalization in Almaty.

In addition, the parties discussed the political and economic reforms carried out in Kazakhstan, the development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU within the framework of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement, and the EU Strategy for Central Asia.
