On the expansion of the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry “Kazakhstan-Brazil”

Brasilia, May 15, 2025 - Ambassador Bolat Nussupov met with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) “Kazakhstan-Brazil” Cassiano Pereira Viana at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil.

During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as current projects of Brazilian and Kazakh companies in their respective countries. In turn, Cassiano Viana informed the Ambassador about the institutionalization of CCI with the creation of the Board of Management and Executive Committee.

In particular, from the Kazakh side Madina Anet, Director of Business Development of “Semurg Invest” company, was elected as co-chair of CCI, Azamat Askaruly, Executive Director of “Alatau” company, was elected as Executive Director of CCI.

The board also included representatives of the following companies: Head of consulting company “Athino Advisor” Gustavo Pimento Sardinia, Regional Director for Central Asia of the company “WEG” Sergey Mushchenko, candidate for Honorary Consul in the state of Parana Pedro Demori.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry “Kazakhstan-Brazil” as a private commercial initiative was established in November 2016 on the basis of the signed Memorandum between the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil and the law firm “Pereira Viana”.

The CCI brings together a number of companies and individuals who are interested in expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The organization plans to expand its activities with the establishment of regional CCIs in the leading economically developed states of Brazil. On April 28 this year in the city of Rio de Janeiro was signed a Memorandum on the establishment of the CCI platform “Kazakhstan-State of Rio de Janeiro”.
