Meeting of the Kazakhstan-Brazil Friendship Forum and briefing for the media

Brasilia, March 6, 2025 – Under the co-chairmanship of Ambassador Bolat Nussupov and former Senator of the National Congress Ulisses Riedel, an annual meeting of the Kazakhstan-Brazil Friendship Forum in a hybrid format and a briefing for the media were held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan. The event was dedicated to the main aspects of the speech of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the expanded meeting of the Government on January 28, 2025, as well as the role and significance of the upcoming international forum in Astana AIF2025, investment and tourism potential within the framework of Kazakhstan's Born Bold campaign, Kazakh-Brazilian cooperation, including the upcoming plans of the Friendship Forum for 2025.

At the opening of the meeting, Vice President of the Kazakhstan-Brazil Friendship Forum Cassiano Pereira Viana, Executive Director of the Forum Professor Edelcio Américo and journalist of «Digital Radar Brasilia» - Silvana Scorsin made a report.

Ambassador Bolat Nussupov in his welcoming address acquainted the guests with the key approaches in the current conditions, political, social and economic transformations carried out by the country's leadership. In addition, there was an ample exchange of opinions about important bilateral events involving the two countries. Also, the participants of the Kazakhstan-Brazil Friendship Forum and the Brazilian media were presented with image materials on attracting investment, promoting tourism and the Born Bold image campaign with the showing of relevant videos.

The Brazilian participants showed great interest in the upcoming international events, wished success in the development of Kazakh-Brazilian cooperation and expressed gratitude for organizing the event. The Friendship Forum, founded in 2022, traditionally hosts meetings at the beginning and end of the year to discuss crucial questions of cooperation.
