Agricultural cooperation opportunities discussed

Brasília, February 11, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov held talks with representatives of Brazilian companies from the state of Pará specializing in the cultivation of organic soybeans Raul Aguilera, Clayton Medeiros and Mauro Rodrigues.

The agenda of the talks included issues of establishing regional cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Brazilian state of Pará in the field of soybean cultivation and processing. The ambassador shared the results of his working visit to the state capital of Belém in December 2023.

During the conversation, the Brazilian side was acquainted with government measures to support foreign investors, the agricultural potential of Kazakhstan, the advantages of our country's location with access to neighboring markets, and was also given presentation material with information on Kazakhstan's capabilities in the field of soybean production and export.

Representatives of Brazilian companies, having familiarized themselves with their activities, expressed interest in establishing cooperation in the agricultural sector, as well as in visiting Kazakhstan this spring. The parties reached an agreement to continue the dialogue and conduct negotiations with Kazakhstani counterparts.
