Investment project of a Chilean company in Kazakhstan was discussed

Brasilia, December 20, 2024 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov held online talks with the Executive Director of the Chilean company ME Elecmetal Eugenio Artega.

During a conversation, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further implementation of the company's investment project for the production of steel melting bodies (balls) in Kazakhstan.

The Chilean side informed about the process of registering the company in the Republic of Kazakhstan as a legal entity, about negotiations with local authorities on localization of the project, obtaining state preferences, as well as about successful negotiations with the Kazakh side on concluding "off take" agreements.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan wished the Chilean company success in implementing the project, confirmed the Embassy’s readiness to provide all possible assistance, and invited the company’s representatives to take part in the International Machinery Forum in April and the Astana International Forum (AIF) in May 2025 in Astana.
