Issues of cooperation in the field of healthcare were discussed

Brasilia, October 15, 2024 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov held a meeting with President of «GRUPO SABIN» Lídia Abdalla.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the possibility of establishing cooperation between the company and Kazakhstan. In particular, the Brazilian side was presented with the Kazakh project «FORUS DATA» on the development of artificial intelligence technology in the field of healthcare. The project provides for the use of an early warning and diagnosis system for oncological and specific diseases. One of the key solutions of the system is the «LungCancerCT» program, which increases the detection of lung cancer in the early stages by 2.4 times and speeds up the process from diagnosis to treatment.

The President of «GRUPO SABIN», highly appreciating the effectiveness of the proposed project, expressed interest in establishing cooperation with medical institutions in Kazakhstan. The parties agreed to hold an online conference with the participation of specialists in the near future.

«GRUPO SABIN» was established more than 40 years ago and is the first organization in Latin America in the segment of diagnostic medicine. It has several thousand employees who serve more than 7 million customers per year. In Brazil, there are 350 service departments of this company in all federal states of the country.
