The issues of expanding the inter-parliamentary dialogue were discussed

Brasilia, September 11, 2024 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov met with Deputy of the National Congress of the Brazilian Parliament, head of the Parliamentary friendship Group Claudio Cajado.

The sides discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as exchanged views on some joint events in the political, economic and cultural spheres.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan acquainted the deputy with the current political and socio-economic development of Kazakhstan in the light of the President's message to the people of Kazakhstan “Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism” dated September 2, 2024 and noted the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening the political dialogue between the two countries.

During the meeting, the main attention was paid to the organization of the upcoming visit to Astana in November, 2024 by a parliamentary delegation headed by Claudio Cajado to participate in the first meeting of the Kazakhstan-Brazil friendship groups in the lower chambers of the Parliaments of the two countries.
