Honorary Consul in the State of Sao Paulo visited Kazakhstan

Brasilia, July 5, 2024 - Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in the Brazilian state of São Paulo Jose Horacio Halfeld Ribeiro, during his visit to Astana, held meetings with the Deputy General Director of the Center for Trade Policy Development "QazTrade" Asel Egemberdieva, the Director of the Marketing Department of NC "KazMunayGaz" Aibek Nurbekov, President of the Kazakhstan Association of Sugar, Food and Processing Industries Aizhan Naurzgaliyeva, as well as with the heads of several private Kazakh companies.

The agenda of the negotiations included issues of establishing cooperation in the trade of agricultural, livestock, and petrochemical products of mutual interest. The parties exchanged information regarding transportation logistics conditions, certification and standardization issues, as well as business delegation exchanges.

The Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan invited the Kazakh partners to participate in the third meeting of the Business Council "Kazakhstan-Brazil," scheduled to take place in October this year in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
