Cooperation with the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been established

Buenos Aires, June 4, 2024 – During working visit to Argentina Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Brazil and concurrently to Argentina Bolat Nussupov held a meeting with the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marcelo Elizondo.

During the conversation, the Kazakh diplomat introduced the interlocutor to the political and socio-economic reforms are being implemented in Kazakhstan, as well as trade, economic and investment opportunities for cooperation between the two countries. At the same time, the necessity to expand and diversify economic cooperation between the two states was noted, including through the creation of joint ventures, taking into account the convenient geographical location of Kazakhstan and the possibility of promoting Argentine goods to large neighboring markets.

The parties agreed to establish direct contacts between the foreign trade chambers of the two countries, and also supported the idea of organizing mutual trade missions. The interlocutor expressed readiness to provide all possible assistance in the creation of the Kazakh-Argentine Business Council in the field of animal husbandry and agriculture.

At the end of the meeting, the parties also discussed a number of specific projects that may be of particular interest to Argentine companies in the field of light industry, wheat processing and sugar production in Kazakhstan.
