Participation in the diplomatic charity fair in Brazil

Brasilia, June 1, 2024 – “The International Fair of National Cuisine and Culture” charity event was held at the Museum of Modern Art of the Brazilian Capital with the participation of over 60 Embassies, which was held by the Association of Spouses of Heads of Diplomatic Missions Accredited in Brazil (GCCM).

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil also took part in this charity project. The Embassy's stand, decorated with elements of national and traditional symbols, displayed information materials about Kazakhstan, souvenirs, as well as Kazakh national dishes. The visitors of the fair were particularly interested in national cuisine and handmade souvenirs prepared by the spouses of Embassy employees. Visitors of the Kazakh stand were able to enjoy the hospitality and variety of Kazakh national cuisine.

The funds raised during the event will be donated to five charitable organizations of the Federal District, which are currently supported by GCCM: "Osceia O Lar de Euripedes" (Brazlândia), "CRGDASE Lar de Idosos" (Luziania), "Projeto Estruturando Vidas" (Cruz de Malta, Ocidental), "Instituto Doando Vida" (Santa Luzia), "Centro Social Inga, Enlace-ACEHU" (São Sebastião).

Since March 2023, the President of the GCCM Association has been the spouse of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil, Gulnaziya Nussupova.
