The issues of deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed

Brasilia, February 28, 2024 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov met with the Federal Deputy of the Lower Chamber of Deputies of the Brazilian Parliament, head of the «Kazakhstan-Brazil» friendship group Claudio Cajado.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral political, trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Brazil, as well as dates of first meeting of the «Kazakhstan-Brazil» friendship group in the lower chamber of the parliaments of the both countries in Astana this year.

The Kazakh diplomat introduced the interlocutor to the progress of political and economic reforms are being implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of the Head of State address is to the nation of Kazakhstan according to the formula «Strong President - influential Parliament - accountable Government» and also outlined the priorities of bilateral interaction on strengthening of political dialogue between countries.

Claudio Cajado, on his turn, wished success to the leadership of Kazakhstan in implementation of reforms and set goals and supported the initiative for organizing the first meeting of the «Kazakhstan-Brazil» parliamentary friendship groups in the lower chamber of the parliaments of the both countries. In conclusion, the parties agreed to maintain working contacts.
