Embassy of Kazakhstan took part in the humanitarian campaign in support of needy residents of the Brazilian capital

On the 8th June 2020, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Kairat Sarzhanov donated to the head of the International Relations Office of the Government of the Federal District Renata Zukim humanitarian aid in the form of 25 food baskets purchased through personal donations of the staff of the Kazakh Embassy and wished to overcome all the challenges of the global pandemic as soon as possible.

Representative of the administration of the Brazilian capital expressed gratitude for participating in the campaign “Government of the Federal District and the Embassies together against COVID-19” and informed that food baskets would be transferred to needy families living in isolated districts of the capital, Ceilândia and Estrutural, in which strict quarantine measures are used due to the steady rise in the number of coronavirus cases. Renata Zukim also expressed interest of the administration of the Brazilian capital in promoting mutually beneficial cooperation with Kazakhstan, including interaction in the frame of the Letter of Friendship and Intent for Cooperation signed between two capitals in November 2018.
