In the Argentine city of Rosario held a ceremony of raising the flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Rosario, December 16, 2023 - on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Rosario in the Memorial Complex of the National Flag of Argentina traditionally held the annual ceremony of raising the flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event, organized by the Kazakhstan Cultural Center and Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan Gustavo Gutierrez together with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil (at the same time in Argentina) and with the support of the Administration of Rosario, was attended by representatives of city administration, city council, public figures, representatives of the consular corps and local media, as well as citizens of Kazakhstan living in this country.

During the event, the leadership of  Rosario city administration congratulated the Kazakhstan’s people with Independence Day, and also emphasized the important role of Kazakhstan Cultural Center and the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between the countries, increasing the visibility of Kazakhstan in Argentina.

This year Kazakhstan and Argentina celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

For reference: Kazakhstan Cultural Center (Centro Kazajo) in Rosario, the largest city of Santa Fe province and the third largest city in Argentina, was opened in November 2014 with the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan. The Center is the first and single building in Latin America.

In December 2021 as part of celebration of 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence Day with participating of Kazakhstan’s Ambassador B.Nussupov and supporting of Kazakhstan’s Cultural Center in Rosario the official opening ceremony of the street, which named after the Kazakh poet, thinker and founder of the national literature A. Kunanbayuly and "Republic of Kazakhstan" square was held.
