Prospects for cooperation discussed with the Peruvian company "Resemin"

Brazil, November 9, 2023 - the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil, Bolat Nussupov, held a meeting (in videoconferencing mode) with the President of the Resemin company, James Valenzuela, and the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Peru, Fredy Saravia. This company is one of the world's leading manufacturers of drilling equipment for the mining industry.

During the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat informed about Kazakhstan’s opportunities in the mining industry and spoke about the country’s favorable investment climate, measures of state support and protection of foreign investors.

B.Nussupov also introduced the interlocutor to the main provisions of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev “The Economic Course of a Fair Kazakhstan”, and invited James Valenzuela to the upcoming “Astana Economic Forum” in June 2024.

In addition, the parties also discussed prospects for cooperation in the mining industry, as well as possible ways of investment cooperation. B.Nussupov invited his interlocutor to consider the possibility of opening a service center and then an assembly shop for the company in Kazakhstan, using our country’s opportunity to enter the markets of the EAEU and China.

For his part, J.Valenzuela noted the early positive experience of cooperation between his company and Kazakhstan, positively assessed the economic potential of the country, and also showed practical interest in the proposals of the Kazakh side.
