Сooperation prospects with the Argentine’s «Los Grobo» concern were discussed

Brazil, November 3, 2023 - the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil (part-time in Argentina) H.E. Bolat Nussupov held a meeting (in videoconferencing mode) with the “Los Grobo” company’s President Mr.Gustavo Grobocopatel. This company is one of the leading producers of agricultural products in Argentina and has 37 offices, 28 agricultural products’ warehouses, and 160 representatives throughout the country.

During the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat informed about Kazakhstan’s trade and economic opportunities in the field of agriculture, told about the country’s favorable investment climate, measures of state support and protection of foreign investors. B. Nusupov also introduced the interlocutor to the main provisions of the President K.Tokayev’s Address «The Economic Course of a Fair Kazakhstan», and invited Gustavo Grobokopotel to the upcoming «Astana Economic Forum» in June 2024.

In addition, the parties also discussed issues of interaction in the field of production, processing and storage of agricultural products, providing of agricultural machinery, chemicals and fertilizers, as well as possible ways of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Grobokopotel, noting the experience of cooperation of his company with Kazakhstan, positively assessed the economic and export potential of Kazakhstan, and also showed practical interest to the possibility of implementing joint projects with the Kazakh side in the field of agriculture and expressed his readiness to visit the Republic of Kazakhstan next year.

As it is known, this year Kazakhstan and Argentina celebrate 30 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
