Brazilian company «WEG» expands its presence in Kazakhstan

Brasilia, August 29, 2023 – at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil, Ambassador Bolat Nussupov met with Daniel Godinho, Vice President of the Brazilian company «WEG».

The parties discussed the current status of the implementation of the company's investment project in Kazakhstan to localize production. The Brazilian side, in turn, informed about the visit of the company's management to Kazakhstan in September of this year to participate in the opening of a technical hub in Almaty for the maintenance of «WEG» electrical equipment.

This year, Kazakhstan and Brazil are celebrating the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
