A regular working visit of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to São Paulo took place

São Paulo, August 8 - During a working visit to São Paulo, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov held a series of bilateral meetings and visited the office of the new Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in the state of São Paulo.

During the talks with the board of the investment agency Invest SP, substantial issues of the second Kazakhstan-Brazil Investment Round Table to be held on August 25 with representatives of Brazilian business circles were discussed.

 

At the meeting with Washington Fonseca, Director of BGI (Balms Group International) for the Americas, the parties exchanged views on the opportunities for mutual cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, as well as in the investment direction.

The Brazilian side invited the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to participate in the annual international conference "BGI Law" with the participation of large Brazilian companies, which will be held on October 19 this year in São Paulo.

 

At the meeting with the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan José Horácio Halfeld Ribeiro, the Ambassador handed over a copy of the Consular Patent to the Consul. The official opening of the first Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in the state of São Paulo will take place on August 25 this year, with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Kairat Umarov, in the framework of his visit to South America. This year, Kazakhstan and Brazil are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
