Issues of trade and economic cooperation were discussed

Brasilia, June 6, 2023 – The President of the Society of Diplomats in Brazil (SDB) Francisco De Assis Chiaratto paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil.

During the conversation, issues of trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Brazil, as well as proposals for the development of individual business projects, were discussed. The Brazilian side presented a number of recommendations for establishing regional cooperation with the Brazilian states.

On the same day, a videoconference was organized at the Embassy with the participation of the President of the Brazilian Beef Exporters Association (ABIEC) Antônio Jorge Camardelli and the President of the Brazil–Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Cassiano Viana with representatives of the business community of Kazakhstan. During the talks, an exchange of views took place on the conditions for increasing meat trade between the two countries and organizing production in Kazakhstan for the processing of livestock products. The parties agreed to continue the initiated dialogue.

This year, Kazakhstan and Brazil are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.
